The Office of Contract Oversight (OCO) ensures transparency, accountability, and efficiency in managing State contracts. The OCO provides oversight, guidance, and resources to agencies, vendors, and stakeholders involved in government contracting to promote compliance, ethical standards, and best practices.
In addition to monitoring contract performance and compliance, the OCO offers tools, resources, and support to all State agencies participating in Maryland contracting. By providing guidance and developing best practices, the OCO aims to safeguard public resources and drive successful contract outcomes by fostering strong partnerships and enforcing procurement and contracting policies.
